THE CABINET OF DR.CALIGARI

A good experience of a silent film with a good story.Though i found it a little slow and sleepy. But i did enjoy the comic style of the movie and the settings of the background with artist paintings was a wonderfull experience to watch with a deference. The movie had no vocal sounds as the movie continued with silent worlds only with text and a slow music to it.

The story had a good twist in the end. The expression of the character was very comical and found it interesting in the ways of expression to be followed.

MY FIRST SELF PROTRAIT

I tried to draw myself in photoshop to make a portrait with a deference in it.

I found myself a little work out on the next self portrait i am going to upload in which it involves a little pencil shading and and a image of myself leaning on table. The final portrait of me drawing myself would be finished hopefully in a day or two, after a couple more of examples I like to display.

THE FILM ELEPHANT MAN

(movie lecture theatre)

I found the movie story a bit catching with the music as a man who struggles to over acceptance while being born different. And found the video a bit slow but scenario was quiet good showing the old periods and the way the cinema theatre existed in the movie. I felt the ending to be more catching. And the story was well made and it makes it worth a watch. And this movie gives me an idea of how people might have behaved or acted and how the environment was like in those periods.

BIRTH TO KNEW IDEAS

this is the portrait idea which i had in mind. i made this using the photograph of famous people and i also tried to creat a protrait face with the photograph which is still on progress and time taking.

And I finally decided and came up with a plan of making a self portrait of myself in an idea of me drawing myself in the portrait which takes me kinda deal of confusion in software and to combine myself with paint mixed with real photograph. Which makes it a combination of paint and real life, so i would draw half of the image and ill use my photo for the other half of my portrait.

And I am finally finishing with my essay on the paintings of Albrecht Durer including the ideas photography about how much the paintings can relate and the ideas of similarity.

SELF PORTRAIT OF ALBRECHT DURER

his idea of making a Christ look on his self portrait to catch

peoples view was a bit of a catching idea. So i came up with the idea of taking photographs of many iconic men and known famous for there looks for example the image of Che Guevara in which a single photograph making a huge deference all over the world.

so i decided on writing an essay about Albrecht Durer and his works including the ideas about photography. Then finally comes my portrait of famous people to combine all best photograph taken which brings an iconic look as a masterpiece.
