THE CABINET OF DR.CALIGARI

A good experience of a silent film with a good story.Though i found it a little slow and sleepy. But i did enjoy the comic style of the movie and the settings of the background with artist paintings was a wonderfull experience to watch with a deference. The movie had no vocal sounds as the movie continued with silent worlds only with text and a slow music to it.

The story had a good twist in the end. The expression of the character was very comical and found it interesting in the ways of expression to be followed.

Glad that the cabinet wasn't too traumatic, we do tend to take the technology that we have today for granted, and it always interesting to see how our fore-fathers compensated for the obvious lack.
If you enjoyed the sets in this film check out the book on matte painting in the base room, if it still there. If not seek out Phil and he will point you in the right direction. Could even help out with your current project.

What subject did you get? Got any visual stuff yet?
